Tom Foolery's at Kalahari (3.9★). Rope courses, laser tag, arcade at resort scale — and resort pricing reviewers genuinely balk at. Best as a splurge for the 4–12 range; get the all-day pass or skip it.
Urban Air — Bee Cave (4.1★) sits outside the county but earns mentions for its praised party coordinators when the north locations are booked.
The county's parks system is the budget birthday's best friend: pavilion rentals at Old Settlers Park (Round Rock), San Gabriel Park (Georgetown), and Brushy Creek Lake Park (Cedar Park) book through each city's parks department for a fraction of venue pricing — add a splash pad in summer (most county cities run free ones) and a grocery-store cake, and the classic party still works.
